A Redding woman was seriously injured in a rollover crash in Bella Vista Wednesday night.

California Highway Patrol Investigators say Thaissa Neves, 27, crashed her 2005 Mini Cooper on Old Alturas Road, east of Boyle Road around 8 p.m.

Neves drove off the edge of Old Alturas Road causing her car to flip over and come to rest upside down. Neves was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to Mercy Medical Center with a serious head injury, according to the CHP.

Investigators say alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
