The Redding Police Department is working to identify two people wanted for reportedly stealing a woman’s credit card as she shopped at a local grocery store, and using it make over $2,000 worth of purchases.

Police say the victim was shopping at Trader Joes on Browning Street last Friday when she noticed that her wallet had been stolen out of her shopping cart.

The card was canceled quickly, but when the woman checked her account she saw more than $2,000 had already been spent at Target.

Police were able to retrieve surveillance pictures from the store security camera and believe the pair pictured above is the thief.
