Last week two victims met with a forensic sketch artist to help piece together the appearance of a suspected assault and sexual assault suspect who targeted three women on the Sacramento River Trail the afternoon of October 7.

The two victims were able to provide enough detailed information for the artist to create a rendition of the suspect, but the sketch was done in black and white and many of the specific details can become lost as a result. The suspect is further described as a white male between the ages of 16 and 20, between 5’6”-5’9” and between 140 and 160 pounds. His hair was described as light brown to blonde approximately 1” in length and stuck straight out from the scalp.

The victim’s stated his skin was very clean without blemish and further described his completion as “baby faced” and didn’t appear as if he could grow facial hair. In all three incidents the young male was seen riding a silver or chrome colored BMX style bicycle.

On October 7, two women were sexually assaulted and a third physically assaulted in separate incidents on the Sacramento River Trail in Redding. The Redding Police Department stated in their press release they are continuing to actively pursue any and all leads regarding the identification of the suspect. Shasta County Secret Witness is also offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Redding Police Department’s Investigation’s Division at (530) 225-4214.
