Redding police bust 3 people buying alcohol for minors

Three people were arrested by Redding police Tuesday after they allegedly bought alcohol for minors.

The department conducted minor decoy operation in Redding Tuesday night, a program in which an undercover minor works with officers and tries to get adults to buy alcohol for them.

Three of the people contacted by the minor bought alcohol and were arrested, they were; Lester Damon Louis Potts, 51, Jodie David Blaylock, 26, and Jacqueline Nichole Nichols, 29, all of Redding.

The penalty for furnishing alcohol to a minor is a minimum $1000 fine and 24 hours of community service.
