Redding Police, Tuesday, made an arrest in two armed robberies. The first happened Saturday at the Care Animal Hospital on Hilltop Drive. The second was Monday morning when an armed robber held up the Mail Biz on Lake Blvd. Officers got a description of the car in both cases and searched the parking lots of local hotels and businesses. On Tuesday they found the car at Fitness 19 on Lake Blvd. The suspect was taken into custody. He's identified as 29 year old Caleb Ambrson of Redding.

Authorities say after searching a storage unit and his home they found evidence, including a gun linking Amberson to the robberies. He was booked into the Shasta County Jail on two counts of armed robbery.
