A four-month investigation came to fruition Wednesday with the arrest of three individuals suspected of selling narcotics to Redding-area transients, the Redding Neighborhood Police Unit reported.

Eric and Derrick Lewis, both 42 years old, and Kim Hannah-Lewis, 44 years old, were detained during the raid.

When officers pulled into the mobile home park, they observed Eric in the process of selling narcotics. The suspect unsuccessfully attempted to hide the narcotics on his person. He was found to be in possession of several grams of Heroin along with several grams of Methamphetamine.

A search of the property revealed additional narcotics including Hydrocodone Pills, cash, canisters used for hiding contraband, and other things related to the sales of narcotics and maintaining a residence to do so.

When Hannah-Lewis was placed in a patrol car for transportation to Shasta County Jail she admitted to having more Methamphetamine hidden in her bra. An additional 17 grams of Methamphetamine was recovered.

All three were charged with drug-related crimes.

Police said that due to changes in the law when California voters approved Proposition 47, along with the limited jail space all three subjects were released from custody within 3 hours.
