A Redding man is recovering from a stab wound to the chest after a fight with his cousin over a woman. Police say the victim, 34-year-old Jacob Taylor, told officers that his cousin, 48-year-old Charles Haller, was jealous over a woman and that the two got into an argument, ending with Haller stabbing Taylor. It happened around 9:30 Monday night on the 2600 block of Park Marina Drive. With the help of a K-9, police found Haller hiding in the bushes outside of The Breadman business. He was arrested and booked into Shasta County Jail.
Police say Taylor's injuries were not life threatening.
