Redding Man Attacked While Walking Dog

Redding police officers are searching for four suspects who were involved in an early morning attack.

Officers responded to the 3600 block of Scorpius Way just before 1 a.m. when David Hiswana, 60, was stabbed while in his wheelchair, walking his dog.

The suspects approached Hiswana near the east end of Atla Mesa Park.

One suspect brought a knife out and demanded for Hiswana's wallet, when he said he didn't have it, the suspect stabbed him in the shoulder and punched him in the face.

The suspect who attacked Hiswana was described as a dark complected male in his 20's, 6'0" with a muscular build and last seen wearing blue jeans and no shirt.

The three other suspects are described as being white males in their 20's, each wearing blue jeans and white shirts.

The suspects fled in a southerly direction from the park.
