When Redding four-year-old Carter Scholfield visited a local charity recently, he told his mom that every child should have a nice pair of pajamas.
In response to Carter's idea, his parents teamed up with One Safe Place and the Good News Rescue Mission to kick off a Jammie Drive tomorrow.
To ensure that the children helped by these organizations are warm this winter, the Jammie Drive is asking for donations of new and gently used pajamas and blankets.
"Carter had the idea that every child should go to bed with a warm pair of pajamas, and he reminded me the following day to get that started, so we got organized and we're going to try to collect as many as we can," said Carter's mother Kyle Dagg.
Pajamas will be collected between 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. everyday at Dagg's office at The Real Estate Group on 950 Mission De Oro Drive from tomorrow until December 6.
