A Redding police investigation targeting a suspected heroin dealer has yielded two arrests and resulted in the seizure of heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine.

On Wednesday, as part of a search warrant, Redding police pulled over Stephene Lynn Anderson, 32, of Redding, as she was driving on Placer Street.

Officers found seven grams of cocaine, a large amount of heroin, and a Glock 9mm handgun in her car.

Phase two of the operation led police to Anderson’s home on Alameda Avenue, where they found Desmond Rutilio Alden, 34, of Redding, in a bedroom with an unspecified amount of heroin and two handguns, one of which was reported stolen during a 1977 residential burglary.

In all, police seized more than 9 ounces of heroin. Anderson and Alden have been booked into the Shasta County Jail and are facing numerous drug charges.
