Redding bar receives 25 day suspension

Four months after an intoxicated minor was stabbed outside of Bombay's in Redding, the bar has been suspended from serving alcohol for the next 25 days.

ABC Agents posted the Notice of Suspension Friday afternoon, meaning the business cannot serve or sell alcohol for the next 25 days.

The suspension stems from an investigation that was conducted when a minor was reportedly involved in a stabbing incident outside the bar on during the early morning hours of May 29. ABC agents established that an employee at the bar served alcohol on May 28, two of three minors who were allowed into the bar. One of the minors reportedly stabbed another person in an altercation after leaving the bar.

Bombay's agreed to the penalty.
