A life-changing diagnosis has not slowed down 6-year-old Colby Arnett.
His family discovered that he has a cancerous brain tumor in July.
Last week, he began embarking on trips to San Francisco for chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
"Life's been flipped upside down. School started when this started, so just trying to piece that all together, and find out the new norm, I guess," said his dad, Tim.
Medical bill are already racking up.
His parents are scrambling to raise money with a garage sale and a GoFundMe campaign.
"It's just been amazing to see the support we're receiving. It's truly a blessing," said his mom, Hillery.
And through it all, spirits remain high.
The family has no doubt that it'll be 'mission accomplished' for his brave crusader.
"He's strong, he's resilient. He's going to come through at the end of this year stronger for it. He's our superhero," his parents said.
Team Colby's Big Sale is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will take place in the Shasta R.O.P./Farm parking lot on 4659 Eastside Rd.
Donations can be sent to the GoFundMe page.
