Red Flag Warning In Place Today

Hot temperatures, strong wind, and low humidity values will lead to high fire danger in the north state for your Thursday forecast. A Red Flag Warning has been issued for many areas of the region, and will continue until 5pm tonight.

Temperatures are projected to climb into the 95 to 100 degree range for the valley, and into the mid 80's to low 90's for the mountains. Winds will be very strong, and valley locations can expect gusts up to around 25mph out of the North, with sustained winds to around 15mph. Mountain areas can expet 15mph winds out of the Northeast throughout the day. Humidity values are also projected to be extremely low, with many valley locations dropping below 10%.

The Red Flag Warning is set to expire at 5pm, but fire danger will continue to be a big concern through your weekend forecast.
