A Red Bluff woman who pleaded guilty to killing a woman in a drunk driving accident last year will spend up to 10 years in state prison, a Tehama County Judge ordered Tuesday.

Elizabeth Lang, 36, pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and DUI after she struck and killed 18-year-old Shae Danilla Smith on Antelope Boulevard on September 30, 2014.

Smith and 20-year-old Travis Burke were standing on Antelope Boulevard near the Valero Gas Station in Red Bluff when Lang drover her Honda Accord onto the curb and hit them. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene, while Burke suffered broken leg. Burke has made a full recovery.
