The Red Bluff rodeo grounds are full of activity as crews prepare for the 92nd annual Round-Up.
The competition begins Wednesday morning with slack competitions in the timed events.
Those competitions will continue through Friday afternoon with the full rodeo set to kick off at seven Friday evening.
Some competitors set up camp at the fairgrounds this afternoon hoping to relax before taking to the arena later in the week.
"It's kind of nice to get a couple days down time. We travel so much, we gotta do laundry and go to the grocery store and everything else," team roper Brock Hanson said.
"The weather is going to be absolutely perfect. I'd like to see 28 to 30 thousand people here in Red Bluff," Round-Up President David Ramelli said.
The Budweiser Clydesdales also arrived in town Monday afternoon.
They'll be performing all three days this weekend at the rodeo.
They'll also be available for pictures Tuesday night at a five o'clock fundraising dinner for the Red Bluff Police Department's K-9 Program at the Tehama District Fairgrounds.
