A dramatic increase in home burglaries has the Red Bluff Police Department warning residents. Thieves are targeting homes all around the city and the police say they need the publics help.

Police reported 60 residential burglaries over the last three months. The criminals are acting quick and breaking into homes taking small expensive items.

"electronics, lap tops, jewelry, firearms, we have been losing a lot of firearms in these residential burglaries which concerns us." says Red Bluff Police Sergeant Matt Hansen.

Investigators are now tracking all the past break-ins to see if they can find some sort of pattern. Hanson says leads help them get someone behind bars. Police are advising residents to quickly report suspicious activity.
