Mar 5, 2013 2:59 PM

Red Bluff Police have released the results of the autopsy on 14 year old murder victim Marysa Nichols.
The preliminary cause of death is attributed to asphyxiation by strangulation.
Police officials say they are unable to provide more specific details, and as said earlier ... they will provide information as it becomes "available or appropriate to release."
They're still searching for the red pants believed to have been worn by murder suspect Quentin Bealer, and the victim's Ipod Touch ... which may hold valuable evidence about the crime.
Meanwhile, Police Chief Paul Nanfito extends the departments "deepest condolences and sympathies to the family and friends of Marysa Nichols." ###
