Red Bluff Police Looking for Suspect

The Red Bluff Police department are looking for a man who was seen chasing a young girl on South Jackson Street on Tuesday.

Police say a man was seen running after a girl at about 8 a.m. in the area of Franzel Road at Poplar Avenue.

The girl noticed the man following her and sensed something was wrong and began running from the man.

The man began to run after the girl but stopped after a resident came out of his home.

A second incident was reported at the same location at 2:50 p.m.

Officers say three girls were walking near the Seventh Day Adventist Church, when the man saw the girls, he began walking towards them.

The man never said anything to the girls in both incidents, he is described as a white male adult, approximately 50 years of age and 5’6 tall. The man was last seen wearing a green shirt and black pants.

Police are asking the public if they see any suspicious activities to call the department.
