Red Bluff police investigating homicide

Red Bluff Police Officers are investigating a Monday night stabbing that left a man dead.

Red Bluff Police were dispatched to an apartment at 65 Mina Avenue in Red Bluff just after 10: 40 p.m. Monday. When officers arrived they found 27-year-old Joshua Verry, of Red Bluff stabbed several times.

Verry was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

During the incident, the suspect stabbed the Verry in the chest and back multiple times.

When officers arrived on the scene Verry was still conscious and police said they are following leads.

The Red Bluff apartment was not Verry's residence and investigators say he was at the apartment to visit a friend.

The suspect, described as a white male is still at large and anyone with information is asked to call the Red Bluff Police Department at (530) 527-3131.

Police are searching for 35-year-old Jesse Robison (pictured below), as person of interest.
