The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office has seen a significant increase of thefts, from the inside of unsecured vehicles the last two weeks.
The thefts have occurred in the Antelope Area and Adobe Road areas of Red Bluff and the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office says there has been approximately 20 thefts in the last two weeks.
Thefts from unsecured vehicles are common crimes reported to the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, and in the vast majority of occurrences, either there was a valuable item left in the vehicle in plain sight or the vehicle’s doors had been left unlocked.
People should remember to keep valuables out of sight and always keep the doors to your vehicle locked.
The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone who may have seen suspicious person(s) or activity, in these areas over the last 2 weeks, to report such information to Tehama County Sheriff’s Dispatch, (530) 529-7900.
The Tehama County Secret Witness is offering a reward of up to $500.00 to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspect(s) in connection with these thefts.
