Rangers-Blue Jays game delayed after bench-clearing brawl

The Texas Rangers and the Toronto Blue Jays got into an all-out brawl on Sunday night and it all started when Roughned Odor punched Jose Bautista in the face after a dangerous slide attempt.

Watch as Matt Bush hits Bautista in the ribs with the pitch, which causes Jeff Banister to step onto the field.

The Hit By Pitch call didn't sit too well with Bautista, and he would retaliate by attempting a takeout slide on second baseman Odor.

Well, that didn't sit too well with him either and he would let Bautista know that by delivering a strong right hand square to his jaw.

All heck breaks loose soon after with benches clearing and players running on the field from every angle.

In total, eight players and coaches were ejected from the game following the melee, including Bautista.

Ranger’s shortstop Elvis Andrus gave his insight on odor's right hander.

"He can, he can punch, and that’s for sure,” Andrus said. “I think that everybody saw that. I think this is in the past, you know, we're ready for the next series."
