Thursday was another nice day around the North State, and we'll see 2 more sunny days before our next storm arrives.
Our day started off cool yet again, but finished off warm thanks to plenty of sunshine. Not much will change over the next couple of days, so look for the nice weather to continue through Saturday.
Our next storm will move in Saturday night and early Sunday, with Valley rain and mountain snow. Snow levels will start around 5000' but drop to near 3500' by Sunday night. The bulk of the rain will fall late Saturday night and early Sunday morning... it will turn to just a few showers here and there pretty early Sunday. We're looking at about 1/3" to 1/2" of rain in the Valley, with higher amounts in the mountains. It'll be just a few showers for most of the day Sunday, which will linger into Monday. Another weak storm will graze us Tuesday, but it's now looking like the rain with it will stay north of us. The rest of the week will see slowly warming weather.
The latest update on El Nino came out today, and it's still looking very strong... top 3 all-time! El Nino typically influences us most between December and March, so we're just about to go into it's influence. It still looks like a potentially wet winter for us!
