Clouds thickened around the North State Wednesday, as a Pacific storm neared us. Look for rain to arrive in the North State early Thursday, although it's not a big storm. Definitely more to the north and less southward... Redding may pick up 1/4"-1/3" of rain, while Marysville will see less than 1/10". It looks like this storm will block our view of the partial solar eclipse happening Thursday afternoon.
We'll dry out Friday, then another storm arrives early Saturday, and stays through Saturday night! This one looks wetter, with a south wind that could gust 25 to 30 mph in the Valley. Valley rain amounts look to be around 1/3" to 1/2" for most places.
We'll dry out again on Sunday, then enjoy a mix of sun & clouds to start next week. Models are indicating a weak storm that could bring a few scattered showers next Wednesday.
