We enjoyed another mild day around the North State today, and only minor changes are coming through the weekend. Big changes arrive next week, however... rain is back in the forecast!
High pressure continues to hang tough over California, and is keeping us warm and dry. The ridge is weakening a little, and that allowed us to cool a bit today with a few high clouds overhead. As the ridge weakens more over the next couple of days, our temperatures will cool a bit more as well... but it will still be mild this weekend. Look for a breezy (10 to 20 mph) north wind in the Valley this weekend.
Monday will see our temperatures warm back up into the 70's for a day, then a nice storm from the Pacific will approach us. Look for light rain to return to northern California by mid-week next week.
