Rain returns next week

Warm weather will last through this upcoming weekend, but big changes are coming next week... rain will return!

Friday was another warm day, with Valley highs near 70 and just a few high clouds. Saturday looks very similar and Sunday looks a bit warmer! There will be a breezy north wind however on Sunday... look for gusts up to 25 mph in the Valley.

Those winds will diminish by Monday, and Monday and Tuesday will be very warm! Valley highs will be in the middle and upper 70's both days.

Stormy weather will return after that. Clouds will thicken Wednesday, with rain moving in Wednesday night, lasting into Thursday. Snow levels will start high, but should drop nicely by Thursday (although it's still early to pinpoint levels. Should be above 3000'... so no snow for the Ridge). With cool and unstable low pressure ready to move directly overhead by Thursday, that could trigger thunderstorms in the Valley by the afternoon! Another weaker storm may bring a few showers again by Friday.

So, enjoy the warm weather this weekend... Old Man Winter will return soon!
