High pressure kept us warm yet again on Monday, but that's about to change. High pressure will break down, cooling us down at first. A fall storm in the Pacific will spread clouds over the North State starting on Wednesday (which will cool us down further), than deliver a bit of rain Wednesday night and Thursday. It's not a huge storm; we can expect around 1/4" of rain in the Valley. Not too much wind, and snow levels look to remain rather high... around 7000'.
The rain should end and the sun should come back out Thursday afternoon. We'll stay cool (but not cold) this upcoming weekend, with a mix of sun and clouds. Models are trying to bring something in this weekend, but high pressure should be too strong to allow that. Next week looks much more promising for rain, however...
