High clouds streamed into the North State today, but they should move out tomorrow and we'll enjoy a nice Saturday. Changes are coming, however... 2 Pacific storms are heading our way!
Two Pacific storms are targeting northern California, and one of them will bring us rain. The first one has spread high clouds over us on Friday, but expect those clouds to clear out overnight, and we should enjoy a fairly sunny and warm Saturday. Clouds will return on Sunday as the first storm moves in, but it's a weak one... look for a few showers in the Siskiyous (maybe as far south as Redding), but that's it. Any showers would produce very light rain, just a few hundredths. Nothing south of Redding.
Skies will clear Monday, but the second storm (the stronger one) will cloud us up on Tuesday, and bring light rain our way by Wednesday. Models have been going back and forth upon how strong they think it will be, but now they're starting to agree that it will be a moderate early Fall storm. Valley rain amounts should be near 1/3"... Not bad for an October storm.
Skies will clear through the day Thursday and next Friday looks sunny and mild.
