ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - The Oakland Raiders are moving practice from their headquarters to an indoor facility because of the heavy rain storm in the Bay Area.
The Raiders made the change Thursday morning in response to what is expected to be the most powerful storm to hit the area in five years. The storm has already led to numerous school closures and power outages in the area.
The Raiders (2-11) do not have an indoor practice facility at their Alameda headquarters so they found an offsite location to prepare for Sunday's game in Kansas City against the Chiefs. The team will take buses to practice and then return to the facility for meetings later in the day.
