The "Country Cares" Radiothon continues until 7:00 tonight on 95.7 FM "The Wolf".9
It's the 18th year for the event, which raises money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
On Thursday, the first day of the radiothon, the radio station raised 10 thousand dollars.
The goal is $50 thousand, as it raised $40 thousand last year.
St. Jude provides cutting-edge treatment for seriously ill children, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
It takes $1.9 million a day to run the hospital, which relies on donations.
Listeners who donate during the "country Cares" radiothon will be entered into a raffle to win a guitar signed by several country music stars.
To donate, simply call 1-800-966-5529.
