MILAN (AP) - Prosecutors in Italy say two men behind a Twitter account that carried threats in the name of the Islamic State group were targeting an Italian military base that has a U.S. military presence.

Prosecutors say the two suspects were still in the "growth phase" and did not have the capabilities to carry out an attack against the base near Brescia or any other targets they had identified on Twitter, including Milan's Duomo or Rome's Colosseum.

Prosecutors say the men, one Tunisian and the other Pakistani, were arranging to travel to Islamic State territory for military training.
