LOS ANGELES (AP) - President Barack Obama returns to California this week to hob-knob with Hollywood and business elites at Democratic fundraisers.
Obama arrives in Los Angeles on Thursday to attend an event at the home of "Two and A Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre in Pacific Palisades, followed by dinner at the home of filmmaker Tyler Perry in Beverly Hills. Dinner tickets cost up to $33,400 per person.
On Friday, Obama flies to San Francisco for more fundraisers, including a $10,000-a-person reception hosted by billionaire Tom Steyer.
He'll also deliver remarks to the U.S. Conference of Mayors, then leaves California on Saturday.
Obama has visited California some two dozen times during his presidency.
Hillary Clinton also plans a fundraising California sweep on Friday and Saturday but she and Obama aren't expected to meet.
