(UPDATE) 10:01 a.m.- PG&E Spokesman Paul Moreno has stated power has been restored to over 1,500 customers in north Chico after a tree limb fell onto power lines near Cussick and Henshaw Avenues just after 9:15 a.m. Moreno stated the power lines did not sustain any serious damage.
PG&E’s Outage map has indicated there are two power outages currently affecting 1,522 customers in Chico.http://www.pge.com/myhome/customerservice/outages/
According to the map, the outage occurred just after 9:18 a.m. Initial scanner reports indicate a tree limb fell on a power line near Vallombrosa Avenue. There is currently no estimated time for power to be restored.
