Power restored in Plumas County, 500 remain without service in Shasta County

Pacific Gas and Electric restored power to all customers in Plumas County late Monday night and are working to restore services to the 500 Shasta County customers remaining in the dark.

At the peak of the storm on Friday, 8,000 PG&E customers in Plumas County were without power. PG&E crews from as far away as Fresno assisted local crews, as did contract crews from Oregon and Washington. In Plumas County, PG&E had more than 300 employee and contract workers helping to restore power.

In Shasta County, 470 customers in Old Station and Hat Creek are without power.
