Fluctuating clouds, early morning and evening showers, and mostly mild conditions are ahead for your Tuesday. Scattered showers have been on and off for the Northern Mountains and northern end of the valley overnight, and into the early morning hours. Showers will subside early this morning, but another chance for wet weather will return this afternoon. The best chance for precipitation will be in the areas closest to the Oregon border. Temperatures have only dipped into the high 50's to low 60's in the valley overnight, and into the mid 40's to mid 50's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the low to mid 70's in the valley, and into the mid 50's to mid 60's in the mountains. Winds will be out of the Southeast up to around 10mph.
The potential for showers looks much more likely for the entire north state from late Wednesday night through the morning on Thursday. Up to around a half an inch of rain will be possible across the valley during that time. Temperatures will be much cooler on Thursday, and are currently projected to top out in the low to mid 60's on Thursday afternoon. Skies will begin to clear out on Thursday night, and mostly sunny skies will be ahead for Friday.
Valley areas will be mostly sunny, with high temperatures in the low to mid 70's on Friday afternoon. Sunny skies, and highs in the mid to high 80's will be ahead for the upcoming weekend. I hope everyone is ready to deal with a little more wet weather over the next couple of days, and has a great Tuesday!
