Two Florida men face charges of manufacturing marijuana after a police officer spotted a marijuana plant sticking out of their car window.

NBC affiliate WFLA reports that a Clearwater Police officer stopped the car, which was in the street without headlights following a burglary, on July 24.

Police arrested two people in the car. Police say one of the suspects told them the plants were stolen from an "acquaintance" who owed him a $100 drug debt.

Justin Goodloe, 20, and Allen Barnes, 19, were arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana.
