This morning just before 11 a.m., Paradise Police in tandem with the Sacramento Police Department’s Career Criminal Apprehension Team arrested 36-year-old Adam Lamb at the 6200 clock of Posey Lane in Paradise. Lamb, of Sacramento, was wanted for several bank robberies in Sacramento between May 10 and May 24 of this year and was considered “armed and dangerous.”
According to the Paradise Police’s press release, Lamb reportedly threatened to shoot people, but no gun was seen. The release also indicated Lamb earned the Label “Pot Belly Bandit” by Sacramento media as his identity was unknown at the time.
The joint investigations led law enforcement to an address in Paradise where Lamb was located and arrested. Lamb was reportedly staying with family members and west taken into custody without incident. He was eventually transported back to Sacramento County by the Criminal Apprehension Team.
