Poor Air Quality in Butte County

The Chips fire is making for poor air quality conditions in areas of Butte County. The Butte County Air Quality Management District is warning residents of possible side affects, and advises them to stay indoors.
The biggest concern found in smoke now, is a fine particulate known as PM2.5. Amounts of PM2.5 are now being detected in areas of Paradise, Forest Ranch and Concow.
