Poor Air Quality Ahead For Those Working Outside Tuesday

Sep 23, 2014 8:51 AM by Cort Klopping

Strong South winds are pushing smoke from the King Fire up into the north state, and that will leave many working in hazardous conditions outside. Winds will be a big factor in your Tuesday forecast, and are projected to gust to 25mph out of the South, and have sustained winds to around 15mph. Temperatures will be similar to Monday's, starting out in the low to mid 60's, with high temperatures in the mid to high 80's in the valley. Humidity values will be dropping to around 15%.

Temperatures will fall, and the potential for wet weather will climb in your extended forecast. We could be seeing showers across the interior of the north state by Wednesday afternoon, but it looks like the wet conditions will hold off until Thursday. Temperatures will also fall in the low to mid 70's by Thursday, and stay in that range into the beginning on your weekend.
