Police seek new suspect in Redding murder investigation

Redding Police added a new suspect Tuesday afternoon to the investigation of the murder of Jon Boring.

Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Proudstar Wilson, 21, of Redding.

Wilson is a Native American woman with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’-3” tall and weighs 150 pounds.

A $5,000 reward was offered Monday for any information leading to the arrest of a Robert Pasillas, the man suspected to have been involved in the murder of Boring.

Pasillas, 25, remains at-large and is the primary suspect in the murder of 52-year-old Boring. Boring died of a gunshot wound Dec. 6 while he was in route to a local hospital.

Pasillas is described as a Native American man, 5-foot-8-inches tall, approximately 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Pasillas is considered armed and dangerous.
