Police Search for Chico Bank Robber

Police are looking for a man who fled on foot after he robbed the Umpqua Bank on Pillsbury Road in Chico this afternoon.
Police say the man walked into the bank and handed a bank teller a note demanding money, the note also indicated that the suspect was armed with a gun.
Police say no weapon was seen during the robbery, the suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man was seen leaving southbound on Pillsbury Road toward Cohasset Road. Police conducted an extensive search in the area but could not locate the suspect.
The man is described as a white man, 55-65 year of age, 5'7 with a thin build. The suspect has grey hair and a mustache. He was wearing jeans, a black coat and a black hat.
