Oroville police say the recent death of a Fairfield man allegedly involved in a drug sale that turned into a robbery is not being considered part of the ongoing criminal investigation.

55-year-old Michael Cocoran died of an apparent heart attack on January 18 while police were interviewing him and another person about being robbed by three others in downtown Oroville.

While the investigation about the robbery is ongoing, officials say it appears Cocoran's death was merely the result of a medical condition.

21-year-old Jamaine Nash (Pictued Above) has been arrested on suspicion of robbery while the two other suspects are being sought.
