OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in Oakland, California, say they're looking for the person who beat a 58-year-old man to death on the street.
Officer Omar Daza-Quiroz of the Oakland Police Department said Saturday that the two men got into a dispute after midnight in the middle of town. The dispute carried on for several blocks.
Daza-Quiroz tells the Contra Costa Times newspaper that the 58-year-old man was found unconscious and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they don't know what led to the dispute and haven't made an arrest.
