A motorcyclist has died after he collided with a vehicle in Paradise Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 11:15 a.m. in the intersection of Clark and Buschmann Roads, when a motorcycle crashed into the side of a Toyota Corolla.
Police say the driver of the sedan, Frank Nolan, 88, of Paradise, was stopped in a parking lot east of the intersection of Clark Road and Buschmann Road. Believing the roadway to be clear, Nolan entered the intersection, driving westbound across Clark Road in an attempt to drive west on Buschmann Road.
Police blocked the intersection of Clark and Buschmann Roads for more than two hours while they investigated, and say it does not appear as though speed or alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld at this time, but police have said he is a 20 year-old Paradise resident.
