Authorities have released security video showing around 10 people they say stole dozens of weapons during a smash-and-grab at a gun store in southwest Houston.

The gang of thieves hit Carter's Country Guns and Ammo at 4:30 in the morning Tuesday.

The video tells the story as you see the men break the store front glass and then tie a chain around the door handles.

A driver of a pick up truck then gunned the engine sending smoke billowing into the air before yanking the doors off the building.

The crooks then flood inside, and got away with more than 50 guns, according to police.

The suspects were wearing a variety of clothing to disguise their identities including gloves and masks.

Houston police are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
