The FBI says the suspect in Monday's Plumas County bank robbery is the same "Bad Breath Bandit" who hit banks in Los Molinos, Nevada City and Durham last year.

The latest robbery happened in Chester Monday morning when the suspect entered a U.S. Bank around 11:25 a.m. and showed a handgun while he demanded money from the teller.

Investigators say the suspect is the same man who robbed the Tri Counties Bank in Durham November 13, 2014 and previously hit banks in Los Molinos and Nevada City.

Dubbed the "Bad Breath Bandit" for his use of a medical face mask during each robbery, the suspect has carried a backpack, wore the mask, sunglasses, a black San Francisco Giants hat brandished a handgun at the teller in all of his robberies.

The "Bad Breath Bandit" is described as a white male with dark hair, he's around 6-feet tall and approximately 210-250 pounds.
