Pacific Gas and Electric Company is reporting that the majority of its customers in the North State have had power restored following Thursday's storm, but there is still nearly 2,000 without power in Plumas County.

The Plumas County power outages are impacting portions of Quincy, Bucks Lake, Cresent Mills and Indian Valley. The more than a dozen separate outages caused by trees and limbs falling into power lines and breaking poles and cross arms began Friday during snowy weather.

Officials say they expect that all Plumas County customers will have power back by 6 p.m. Friday.

As of 9 a.m. 42 customers in Butte County don't have power while another 26 customers in Shasta County are waiting on their service to be restored. PG&E says all Tehama County outages have been restored.
