Plea Deal on Table in LaSalle's Shooting Case

Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey says an "offer is on the table" for a plea deal, on the attempted murder charge the jury deadlocked on in the LaSalle's Shooting case.
Shane Warner was convicted of three of four counts against him in May, but the jury deadlocked on the charge of attempted murder in the shooting of Sam Smith.
Smith and an Oakland woman were struck by the gunfire inside the Downtown Chico bar in July of 2011.
Ramsey told Action News Thursday that if Warner does not agree to the plea agreement, a date for a new trial will be set in court July 18th.
Warner faces more than 20 years in prison on the charges he's been convicted of.
A conviction on the Attempted Murder charge could bring life in prison.##
