MIAMI (AP) - The playoff game between the United States and Mexico for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup berth will be played Oct. 10 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football made the announcement on Friday.
By winning the recent CONCACAF Gold Cup, Mexico qualified for the game against the United States.
The game was originally planned for Oct. 9. The new Saturday date will allow fans to participate in a day of activities, including the Futbol Fiesta, an interactive fan zone outside the Rose Bowl.
