The Butte County Bomb Squad was called out to property in Orland Saturday, after three active pipe bombs were discovered in a shed.
Glenn County Sheriff Larry Jones says they were filled with black powder and had good fuses ... as they had been stored in waterproof packing.
The devices were discovered on the seven thousand block of Highway 32 ... near County Road "P" a little before 9:30 this morning.
The property had recently sold, and was in the process of being cleaned-up.
There were no evacuations and the pipe bombs were far enough back on the property that Highway 32 remained open.
A Bomb Technician removed the explosives, which were later detonated at the County Yard in Orland.
The investigation into where the pipe bombs came from is continuing.
