CSU, Chico's Campus Public Arts Committee wants the community to take part in photography sessions for a new public art project, "Facewall."
The project, by the artist team of Walczak & Heiss, has been selected for installation on the south-facing wall of the new arts and humanities building ... located at 2nd and Normal streets.
"Facewall" will feature more than 1,000 faces in silhouettes mounted on steel totems spanning a distance of 42 feet. Volunteers are needed to pose for the silhouettes during photography sessions on campus and downtown March 7th through the 10th.
Participation is free and children are welcome. Volunteers may make an appointment at www.facewall.me or drop by during any of the photography sessions listed below.
You must sign an image release form and there is no guarantee you will be included in the final project.
